Michael Rafic has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong drive for business transformation utilizing advanced technologies. His recent focus is on introducing innovation and driving process optimization throughout the insurance value chain for all lines of business. He began his work as a programmer analyst and underwriter for the first insurance software package on PCs, transitioned to one of the first packages to adopt Java and the web, and now harnessing digital on the cloud powered by AI. He was of the founding members establishing two global insurance product companies where he held executive, product management and delivery positions, now focusing on business development, partnerships and M&As. Over the years, Michael has worked with c-level as well as IT and business managers at leading carriers and brokers across the USA, UK, Europe and Asia. Michael holds an Industrial Engineering degree with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University (USA) with a major in Information technology, and a MBA with honors in information systems from Pace University (USA).
