Lorenzo completed his BSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Newcastle University and MSc in Marine Technology at the University of Strathclyde.

He worked in ship management, both for third parties and for ship owners up to senior management positions.

He enjoyed the frenzy of the newbuilding program from 2003 till 2008.

Together with Giuseppe Averame he founded Rely – Marine and Energy Experts: the firm aims to provide marine claim consultancy in all technical aspects, operating through an established network of experts controlled by the directly managed hubs. Each hub ensures the necessary standards and follow-up on each assignment.
