Konstantin Krasnokutskiy is the Founder and Managing Partner of NAVICUS.LAW, an internationally recognized maritime law firm specializing in shipping, insurance, litigation, and international arbitration. With more than 20 years of experience, he has advised shipowners, P&I Clubs, insurers, financial institutions, and multinational businesses on complex cross-border disputes and high-value maritime transactions.

Throughout his career, Konstantin has led landmark cases involving major oil spills, collisions in ice convoys with nuclear icebreakers, sanctions, international arbitration, and, more recently, marine casualties resulting from acts of war.

His work has been recognized by leading legal directories, including Chambers & Partners and Pravo-300, which has ranked NAVICUS.LAW the No. 1 maritime practice in Russia. Konstantin also founded and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Maritime Law Journal, Russia’s first bilingual journal dedicated to maritime law.

Konstantin serves as President of the Russian Maritime Law Association (RUMLA) and represents Russia within the Comité Maritime International (CMI). Days after the February 2022 invasion, he made headlines by publicly condemning the war and declaring there was no legal or political justification for the invasion, calling for the immediate cessation of all military actions – a stance he has repeatedly reaffirmed at personal and professional cost.
