Ian has 20 years of experience handling high value and complex marine claims across various classes for global insurers and Lloyd’s syndicates.

Ian joined Aon in 2025 and is Head of Marine claims in London, leading the Cargo, Hull, Liability and P&I claims teams. Before joining Aon, Ian spent 12 years managing the Specialty Claims team at Antares syndicate at Lloyd’s. He has handled numerous complex claims covering the following classes: Marine Cargo, Hull, Liability, P&I, Ports and Terminals, Energy, Aviation and Cyber.

Ian has completed his Advance Diploma in Insurance and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He is also a member of the LIIBA Marine Claims Sub Committee.
