Dr. Ulf Marr is a lawyer and counsel with Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein’s Hamburg office. He advises his clients on all matters of marine insurance law and maritime law. Among his German and international clients are insurers, managing general agents, brokers, shipowners and ship managers. Ulf has about 10 years’ professional experience and joined ASD 2022 after having worked for a Hamburg maritime law firm from 2016 until 2022. Ulf studied law in Osnabrück and Lausanne and completed his doctoral thesis on bailment and possession. He is a member of the Inland Hull, Fishing Vessels & Yachts Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurers. In his free time, he is a keen and experienced yachtmaster and yachting instructor.
