David has had 34 years’ experience as a Marine Claims Broker and Client Advocate.  He started his career with Sedgwick Ltd and with Halliburton where he held the position of Risk & Insurance Manager for Europe, Far East & Africa. 

He has been with Willis Towers Watson for over 19 years specialising in Marine Hull & Machinery claims, Loss of Hire claims and Port/Terminal and Port-related liability claims

David is currently Head of The Marine Claims Advocates at Willis Towers Watson and was a contributor to the Nautical Institute’s 2017 publication “Guidelines for Collecting Maritime Evidence”.
