Andrea is the Head of Claims at DUAL Marine Europe, part of DUAL Group; with more than 1,800 people in 50 locations, providing solutions across more than 70 product lines, DUAL is one of the world’s largest MGAs.

With almost 30 years of experience in the Marine claims arena, Andrea is responsible for overseeing a team of handlers located in Genoa, managing all class of Marine claims (Hull, Cargo, and Liability) and dealing with brokers from 20 countries and a client base spread over 70.

Andrea has served as a member of IUMI (International Union of Marine Insurance) Salvage Forum and of the Strategy Group of IMCC (International Marine Claims Conference), and regularly teaches in the Master in Marine Insurance at the Genoa University, from which he holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with specialism in Maritime and Transport.
